Tom is the beating heart of Chenderit School and has been teaching here since the late 1990s. He’s committed not only to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to fulfil their creative potential, but also that everyone remembers to demonstrate the school’s motto: “Aim high, work hard, be nice.”

Sue Carverhill, Secretary

Sue has been involved with the Heseltine Gallery since starting work as Arts Development Officer with South Northamptonshire Council in 2006. When not in a gallery or supporting arts in the community, she can often be seen singing with a choir, planting trees or photographing butterflies and plants.

Sophie found her path in life after falling under the spell of an inspirational teacher of art history. She likes spreadsheets, as well as paintings, and is delighted to be using her hard-won skills as an arts administrator to support the Heseltine Gallery.

When Lucy is not helping write social media posts and updating the Heseltine Gallery website, she can be found in her home studio wrist deep in collage papers and acrylic paint! Her favourite artist is Paul Klee and her favourite drink is coffee.

Chris has curated three exhibitions at the Heseltine Gallery since 2016 and, with a professional background in design education, is interested in all things visual. To relax he likes his allotment, travelling and the occasional coffee!
