About me…
In the late sixties I studied printed textile design at Bradford College of Art. After which I did a post graduate year at Hornsey College of Art in North London. This led to me becoming a freelance designer, selling designs to a number of manufacturers which included Heals and Moygashell..At the same time I worked as Design assistant to Ian Logan at JRM Design in Covent Garden. I then gave up designing to become a full time mum.
After moving to Banbury I worked for Phillipa Kendall in her soft furnishings and gifts shop on Parsons Street. Here I helped Phillipa to buy and make stock for the shop. When the shop closed I became Art department technician at Chenderit Visual Arts College.
This is where I met Sarah Bosworth the ceramacist artist in residence. I am grateful to Sarah for introducing me to ceramics.
